16 December martyrs remembered at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar

A reference was held at Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar in memory of martyrs of the “Fall of Dhaka”  and “Army Public School Tragedy”. All faculty members, staff and students attended the reference. Speaking on the occasion Prof Dr Fakhr-ul-Islam Director Pakistan Study Centre said that Pakistan has received two deep wounds, one on 16 December 1971 and the other on 16 December 2014. He paid rich tributes to the martyrs of both tragedies. He specially mentioned Army Public martyrs whose sacrifices created unity due to which terrorism was defeated. Students Miss Karishma Parveen and Mr.  Umar Khayam also spoke on the occasion. All the participants observed silence and offered fateha for the martyrs.
