National Symposium at Pakistan Study Centre


Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) and Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) jointly organized one day National Symposium “Sectarian Harmony: National Security and Interest of Muslim Ummah”. Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar presided over while Chairman CII Dr. Qibla Ayaz was the Chief Guest. Others who spoke on the occasion included Prof. Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam, Saqib Akbar, Dr. Mirajul Islam Zia, Dr. Jamil Chitrali, Dr. Amir Raza,  Allama Shakiri and Hafiz Abdur Rahman. The speakers stressed the need for interfaith and intra-faith harmony in Pakistan. They said that the menace of sectarianism may destabilize Pakistan. They said that all segments of society should play their due role in this regard.
