Dr. Fakhar speaks at National Conference on CPEC

Director Pakistan Study Centre University of Peshawar addressed the National Conference on CPEC organized by China Studies Centre, University of Peshawar. The conference was presided over by Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abid. Speaking on opportunities and Challenges of CPEC, Dr. Fakhr-ul-Islam said that if on one hand CPEC will usher a new era of economic prosperity in Pakistan, on the other hand it will pose serious challenges to Pakistan. He said it will be the test of our leadership and national commitment as how to benefit from the golden opportunity offered by CPEC. He stressed the need for better coordination among the line departments and other stakeholders so as to avoid duplication of activities. He said that coordination will also help in pooling of resources and timely execution of projects. The conference was also addressed by Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Prof. Dr. Taj Muharram, Dr. Minhas and others.
